You see, we often talk about "surviving" addiction, as if the whole point is to make it through to the other side. But what if I told you that recovery could be about more than just survival? What if it could be about thriving—about building a life so good you can't imagine going back to your old ways? That's right, let's not aim for the bare minimum here. You're not in this just to make it through another day; you're in this to live a purpose-driven life. To be honest, the best defense against relapse is a life you love, one you won't want to jeopardize. So how do we start thriving, you ask? It's about focusing on growth, not just avoidance. Instead of just counting the days since your last use, count the new experiences you've had or the accomplishments you've achieved. How have you improved your relationships? What have you done that your past self wouldn't believe possible? Thriving is about recognizing your own potential and taking steps to reach it.You might be wondering, "How do I go from surviving to thriving?" Great question! It starts with mindset. Instead of seeing challenges as threats, see them as opportunities for growth. Instead of avoiding discomfort, lean into it, because that's where the real change happens.I want to share a quick success story. Meet Frank, who completed our program several years ago. He had stayed in touch with me and periodically asked me for letters of reference. Jobs, apartments, school. Then one time he asked me for a letter and when I got the email, it was for Medical School!! He shifted his mindset, met a woman, and now they’re parents! What about you? What steps can you take to move from just surviving to thriving? It could be as simple as taking up a new hobby, setting a new career goal, or even just taking a few minutes each day to reflect on your personal growth.Remember, you've got one life. Don't settle for merely surviving. If you need a little nudge or guidance, don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to support you every step of the way.

Best,
